Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault (born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jimmyenez, September 2, 1966)[3][4][5]), is an American and Mexican actress. In Mexico she began her career with the role as Teresa in the television show (1989-1991) and El Callejon de los Milagros (1995), where she received an Ariel Award. Through appearances in films such as Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999) She quickly established herself in Hollywood. Hayek's portrayal of Frida Kahlo, a painter, in Frida (2002), a biographical film she produced and won her the Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[66. Also, she was awarded her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. Hayek starred in the action-oriented Once Upon a Time in Mexico movies in the years after and shifted her focus to producing.
