Niykee is a songwriter and songwriter who, even with her busy schedule, has managed to maintain a regular routine. Some of her personal highlights included her being picked by Snoop dogg to be his sidekick at the YouTube Brandcast event in May 2013. As a producer magnet, Niykee constantly sifts through beats sent to her. She finds that most beats spark fresh music ideas. After just five minutes that I know whether a beat is worth it. From there I am able to see the concept of a song's whole concept in my brain and I start writing. When I am playing my guitar on my front porch, words start to flow. Most of the time it is accomplished in about 30 minutes. Niykee states that, as she develops as a lyricist and musician, her memories of her youth serve as source of inspiration. She says that even when she's not composing about events that are actually happening the pain through her childhood and losing her younger sister makes its way into the music. The music I write is shaped by it and I sense the deep meaning behind everything. This is one of the elements that is crucial to me.
