Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada, and is now American. There are more than 20 albums that were released by her. DiFranco has released over 20 albums. Ani Difranco is believed to be a feminist legend and a Grammy award winner. In the beginning, as one of the first female artists in the 1990s, DiFranco founded her own label. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd of 1970, the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco and Dante Americo DiFranco, who met while attending in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father was of Italian descent and her mother was born in Montreal. Her song 32 Flavors was composed by her and sung by Ani. The song debuted on DiFranco's 1995 sixth album Not a Pretty Girl. The song's version is featured on the film Canadian romantic movie Better Than Chocolate. DiFranco apologized for hosting a workshop in Louisiana on an old slave plantation. The workshop was cancelled, but many (including the author of this article) didn't detect remorse. DiFranco released a new apology days later. While she's been referred to for her role as the Little Folksinger, her music has embraced many kinds of genres and collaborates across the spectrum from Pete Seeger to Chuck D to Prince.
