Ariel Winter, born Ariel Winter Workman (Janurary 28th 1998) in Los Angeles California is an American performer, singer and voice actor. Ariel's acting career began when she was six, when she appeared in an advertisement to promote Cool Whip. Her first television appearance was in an episode of CBS's Listen Up! at seven years old. Later on, she played in some of the shows she appeared in, including Monk Bones or ER. Gretchen Gretchen, from the character from the Disney Original Channel series Phineas and Ferb's Gretchen, was her role in 2007. The actress made her debut live-action performance in the role of Alex Dunphy in the hit TV series Modern Family two years later. Together with the cast from Modern Family she received the Screen Actors Guild Award in the past four years for Best Ensemble Comedy Series. Ariel is still doing voice-over for films like ParaNorman Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel is a purple Taekwondo belt.
