Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28 the 28th of October, 1967. Her family is the fourth Roberts family who resided in Atlanta. The story began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. Early on, her father began to take an interest in theater. As an undergraduate at Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. After joining the airforce and appearing in an air force production in Biloxi with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in the year 1955 and their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter as well as his spouse quit the military in the year 1957 and enrolled Walter in Tulane University. Walter became a member of Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio at the time they moved their family from Atlanta to Georgia's Decatur in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning show on local television for kids known as Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. This was a project that they funded themselves. They also founded the six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later the same year. In the meantime, they also had two youngsters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965 in 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
