Dua Lipa was born on 22nd August, 1995 in London, United Kingdom. Her debut self-titled album debuted in 2017 after she had been signed by Warner Bros Records. It reached the third spot in the U.K. album chart, and had eight singles, which included the U.K. top-ten song New Rules and Be the One. I.D.G.A.F. Dua Lipa was born 22nd August 1995, in London with Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. Dua Lipa is Bosnian origin through the maternal grandparents of her. Her ancestors are also tracked back to Peja, the Kosovo town of Peja. The two grandfathers of Lipa were historians. She is a sister to Rina Lipa, and has one younger brother, named Gjin. Her father, a guitar player and singer in the Kosovan group Oda was a major influence on her music. At home her father continued to perform music, including music and compositions, as well as songs of David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Sting The Police and Stereophonics. Lipa was only five when she started singing. The Sylvia Young Theater School was where she started singing as she was nine years old. Lipa has performed her cover of If I Ain't Got You and Beautiful by Christina Aguilera on YouTube. Lipa signed her first record agreement in 2014 with Warner Bros. Records. New Love was her debut single. New Love was released on August 15th, 2015.
